What is the system
requirement for publishing my site?
-
You
need to have the appropriate internet connection. One way to check this is
to use the "ping" Command. If you are using Windows
Operating System (Windows 95/98/NT), please choose Start/Run. In the Run
dialog box, please enter cmd in the run field and click Ok button to
display the DOS window. At the command line, please enter:
ping
www.atfreeweb.com
and press
the Return key. If you get replies, it usually indicates you have
the appropriate internet connection. Otherwise, you either do not
have internet connection at all or are behind a firewall (Proxy
server). Although you may successfully publish your site from behind a
firewall, we currently do not support this configuration because of the
diversity of the proxy servers. Please note that ability to view web sites does
not necessarily guarantee that you can successfully publish your site from
behind such firewalls.

You
must have the Client for Microsoft Network installed. Here is how to
find out if your system have the Client for Microsoft Network
installed or not:
Start,
Settings, Control Panel, Network
If
it is installed, you will see Client for Microsoft Network listed. If not,
click the ADD button to install.
